Bronze is the usual material for a full-figure Beatles statue, and Liverpool has the most, from Tommy Steele's 1982 Eleanor Rigby to Andy Edwards's four Beatles at the Pier Head (2015).

Lennon on a bench is the most repeated pose. José Villa Soberón's Havana figure, unveiled by Fidel Castro on 8 December 2000, was followed by casts from the same sculptor in San José (2011) and Tampa (2014). Lawrence Holofcener's seated Imagine reached Carnaby Street in 2021.

Latin America has a cluster of its own, with statues in Cuba, Costa Rica, Peru, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico. Several statues have also moved since they were first unveiled, including those in Durrës and Almería. David Webster's Liverpool bronze, unveiled on 16 January 1997, stands on Mathew Street by the Cavern Wall of Fame.
