Privacy policy

Summary

This is a static website. It has no user accounts, no comment forms and no newsletter. We do not sell personal data.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting and our content delivery network (Cloudflare) record technical request data such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time. This is used to keep the site running and secure, and is kept only for a limited period.

Maps

The map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap servers only when you open the map. Your browser then sends a request to OpenStreetMap, which sees your IP address. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.

Analytics and advertising

This site shows advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to show ads and to measure them, based on your visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on those visits.

The site uses no analytics scripts of its own.

Messages

If you message the editor on LinkedIn, the message is used only to reply and, for corrections, to update the record. LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies to messages sent there.
