Information about them is scattered across local newspapers, fan forums and travel blogs that often copy each other's mistakes.

This site puts them in one place, with each fact tied to a source and each location pinned on a map.

Every memorial page is built from published sources: local press, official city and university pages, OpenStreetMap and Wikidata. Facts without a source are left out. The full method is in the editorial policy.
