How the picks are chosen

A book, film or record is linked only when it has a real connection to the place on that page: a guidebook to the streets around it, the film shot there, the record made or played there. No listing on the site is paid for, and Amazon has no say in which memorials appear or what the pages say.

The site does not show Amazon prices, ratings, reviews or product images. Product names and descriptions in the link blocks are written by the editor. Prices and availability are whatever Amazon shows when you visit.
